Serbia is comprised some eight different wine regions, each with their own particular sub-regions.

Main Wine Regions and Sub-Regions

  • Timok – eastern Central Serbia – Krajina (Negotin) and Knjaževac;
  • Nišava-South Morava – southern Serbia – Aleksinac, Toplica, Niš, Nišava, Leskovac, Vranje;
  • West Morava– central Serbia – Čačak, Kruševac;
  • Šumadija-Great Morava– central Serbia – Mlava, Jagodina, Belgrade, Oplenac;
  • Pocerina – western Serbia;
  • Srem – located around Fruška Gora in Vojvodina;
  • Banat– located around Vršac in eastern Vojvodina – South Banat, North Banat;
  • Subotica-Horgoš – northern Vojvodina;
